Zorig Foundation aims spread democratic values and ideals throughout Mongolia with a vision of shaping a society in which citizens are informed and are engaged and guided by democratic values and through effective partnerships and building of communities. Mongolian Education Initiative
Mongolian Education Initiative (MEI) or Монголын оюуны санаачилга is registered in Mongolia and works in tandem with Mongolia Education Foundation. MEI formerly was known as the American University of Mongolia from 2013-2019. However, due to the economic downturn in the country and other reasons, the establishment of a university project has been suspended. Today, under the name MEI, the organization continues to carry out much needed educational programs for Mongolian youth together with our proud partners - MEF, Zorig Foundation and Gerhub. MEI is in the process of developing a comprehensive pre-college enrichment program for Mongolian high schoolers. MEI cordially thanks our Board of Directors for their continued support to our educational endeavors for the future.
